Special Motors

IME has an own area studying, developing and manufacturing motors in special execution. Such area places itself as an excellence centre for the research and realization of motors out of standard with the objective to fulfil every application particular need.

To reach customers' satisfaction, IME counts on the daily work of the devoted highly qualified personnel.

Moreover, IME is equipped with a certified testing room of the most recent generation, for the evaluation and characterization of special motors up to a power of 110KW, in order to speed up the development times of the motor and to test on brief term the technical solutions projected by the own engineers.

IME special motors show a high quality standard, being the result of the necessary expertise to supply the customer with a reliable product perfectly meeting his specific needs.

The special motors, thanks to the different specific mechanical set-ups, can be used in different fields, among which we can mention:

• low temperature environments, i.e. snowguns
• high temperature environments, i.e. HT motors
• railway, i.e. command of auxiliaries on board
• wood and bricks-drying
• industrial ventilation
• industry, i.e. equipments for pasta and food industries, steel and textile industries, plastic material injection machines

• activations with variable speed, i.e. inverter motors

The manufacture of special motors extends on the sizes 100, 112, 132, 160, 180 and 200, three-phases in different polarities.

The range is not limited to the above sizes. All standard sizes can be customized in a special version, using not-standard components and materials. One-phase set-ups are available up to the size 100.
